New Line- Rachel Rachel Roy

The much anticipated line, Rachel Rachel Roy is finally out and I have to say it is making me a bit crazy. I literally want EVERYTHING in the line. The line , which can be purchased at Macy's or at rachelroy.com has the most amazing pieces ranging from dresses, to shoes, to outerwear to jewelry. The line is just as cute as her high end collection but for a fraction of the price. Below are a few of my faves.

'Tis The Season For Leather

Leather is all over the place this season and even the most timid of us can find a way to work it into our wardrobes. For the more fashion forward, there are leather pants and leather vests, while those averse to risk may opt for a jacket or purse. The drawback of leather is that it can cost you a bundle. Because most of us cannot afford to splurge on multiple pieces, finding the right piece at the right price is key. The Glass Closet has scoured the web to find this season's hottest pieces at every price point. For those of you opposed to leather, we have also found a few faux versions....now you have no excuse. Here are our favorites:

Build An Outfit- Old And New

Most of the time, it just takes adding a few new pieces to your Fall wardrobe to make your looks fresh and new. This year, a lot that was old is new again which makes it that much easier to stay fashionably afloat. The Glass Closet wants to start a new feature where we help you build new outfits out of a mix of things you most likely have in your fashion arsenal, while adding a few new pieces.

Most of us already have a basic tee and a pair of black leggings.

If you add a boyfriend blazer and booties(both of which are hot this season) you completely re-vamp the leggings look of last season. Remember, for those trendier pieces, always look at less expensive stores since the odds of these pieces going out of style before you can wear them a handful of times is pretty good.

Good Deal Alert- Old Navy

I am always on the lookout for cute, reasonable boots. I also have to balance that love with my pocketbook and only buy the ones I will get a lot of wear out of. In this economy, spending less is always more and that is why I am loving these faux suede, fringe boots from Old Navy. These are great everyday boots to tuck into jeans. Comfy, cheap and cute...cant get better that that.

Loving This New Product

I was at the mall today and needed to run into Victoria's Secret to buy some new undies. On my way in I came across the new Christian Siriano Bronzer/Highlighter Trio and had to do a little test run. The color is really amazing; not too shimmery and a really perfect bronze color.

I highly recommend the fabulous and glamorous brush as well. It's fat and lush and a little too chic for words.

StyleChick.com

A schoolmate from High School recently started a new fashion website called Style Chick. Style Chick is a new and growing online social community for fashionistas. You can think of stylechick.com as "Facebook for Fashionistas." Women who love fashion come to the site to chat fashion with their friends. You can create custom profiles, update your style status and create social groups with your friends. Think of it as an excellent place to go if you have a question about let's say , what may be appropriate to wear to a wedding? Join Style Chick and you will have a whole site of friends that will be willing to offer their opinions.

My favorite part is their Marketplace where users sell items they no longer want (REALLY cute purses!).

Jewelry Line I Am Loving- Jennifer Tuton

I was at an event the other night and had the distinct pleasure of meeting Jennifer Tuton in person as well as seeing quite a bit of her collection. I already owned a couple pairs of her earrings and have been a fan ever since I was first introduced but wasn't quite prepared for how hard it was to walk away from the display table without snatching up all of her pieces. Her line has an amazing mix of silver, gold and gemstones that will fit just about any occasion.

You can check out her collection on her website http://www.jennifertuton.com/.
You can't purchase directly from the website but it does give you a list of several online stores as well as brick and mortar stores that sell her line.

I have pictured some of my favorite pieces above.

I Never Thought I Would Say This...

but....I just bought something on HSN(Home Shopping Network). Okay, I didn't actually order it over the phone or anything, I did find it online, so I suppose its not that odd. All that aside,I am absolutely obsessed with this Mabe pearl ring. It has such a unique design to it yet it is casual enough to wear every day. Plus, I couldn't quite get over how inexpensive it was!

The Gap Is Back

It's been a while since I've purchased a pair of jeans from the Gap. They used to be my first place to look but as denim has become more trendy they got left behind for quite a while. Well, I can happily say they are officially back and I am like a kid in a candy store. They have a plethora of really cute trends and washes and best of all, they all come with the Gap price tag. A few of my favorites are pictured above.

I Finally Found The Perfect Boot

I have been looking for a tall boot, made of nice leather with some slouch type style to it for a very long while. Its been quite a feat since I wanted all of this and I wanted them to cost under $200. Well, I found the perfect boot by RoseGold and they are a little more than I wanted to pay, but that is sometimes the sacrifices we have to make, right Ladies? (the come in black, brown and grey!)

Newest Lipgloss Obsession

I have a problem when it comes to lipglosses, I am absolutely obsessed with them. I could forever do without lipstick, but glosses must be with me at all times.

This past weekend I was in Vegas with my good friend Jenn when she introduced me to my newest obsession. Chanel makes an an incredible lip gloss called "seashell" in their Glossimer collection. It is like covering your lips with a shimmering, golden, opal..okay, that's not really a thing, but you get the visual.

Foot Fetish

Not sure if the rest of you were as into "The Bachlorette" this season as I was, but if you were you know all about Tanner P and his fascination with Jillian's feet. Now, as a practice this really creeps me out but it did lead me to these awesome Badgley Mischka Christi shoes in the "Men Tell All" episode.
